Replacing an engine in an aircraft with an engine of a different type or size is called an engine conversion. An engine conversion requires a registered Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) which is supplied with our conversion package.

The objectives in the engine conversion are to get a more reliable, efficient, powerful engine which as an added bonus increases the value of your aircraft.

Reliability and efficiency need no explanation, but power is a little more complex. Additional power provides improved speed, climb, maneuverability, a better service ceiling, and can permit the carrying of a greater load.

Each TCM rebuilt engine is tested, by TCM, at sea level conditions. Each are thoroughly checked on all engine parameters in a carefully monitored test cell prior to shipment.

All TCM zero-time rebuilt engines carry an exclusive Gold Medallion Warranty. The engine leaves Teledyne with no time on it. There is no comparison between a TCM rebuilt engine and a field-overhauled engine.
