Bonanza due to lack of range or capacity, check with Beryl D’Shannon
to see what they can do to improve these important performance
factors.
Beryl D’Shannon Aviations Specialties,
manufactures of Tip Tanks and
other Beech related modifications and improvements for over forty
years, has improved the utility features of their
15 gallon Tip Tanks one more
time. According to Mike Trudeau, Director of Research for Beryl
D’Shannon, the new STC amendment adds an additional 50 lb. to late
model 35 and 33 aircraft bumping their maximum take-off and landing
weight to 3600 lb. Loading restrictions have also been relaxed on
these airplanes which will allow more latitude while loading these
airplanes.
In addition, this amendment allows the IO-470
powered 33’s to increase their take-off and landing weight to 3202 lb.
This amounts to a 152 lb. increase for the F33 and a full 302 lb.
increase for the Straight 33. The G33 also benefits with a 165 lb.
increase to 3365 lb. maximum take-off and landing weight.
